Man Amigos 15, Advance Xterminator 10 Joey Dela Cruz rocketed a three-run home run while Julian Camacho and Eric Palacios hit a solo shot apiece to set the lead in the top of the first inning.
The Man Amigos sluggers went on to swing for more base hits so even when John Taitano grand slammed for the Xterminators in the bottom of the six, the lead remained strong to assure Man Amigos of their victory.
Palacios drove in two more runs with single in the fourth and sixth innings to go 3-for-4.
Mike Sablan had two strike outs before he was relieved by Mel Tenorio who struck out three.
Chura 17, Red Eye 5
Tyrone Omar and Pete Tomokane fired two-run HR apiece in the top of the second inning, and Stan Laniyo homered as well for two runs and Chura beat Red Eye, 17-5.
Omar, Tomokane and Jesus Iguel went 3-for-4.
Natibu 16, G-Ballers 6
Bruce Norita drove in three with a homer and BJ Sablan hit a solo shot to lead Natibu in beating the G-Ballers, 16-6.
With Paul Salalila firing a three-run home run in the top of the first inning, the G- Ballers established the lead, which Natibu managed only to cut in the bottom of the first.
Then, Natibu had a strong defense in the next three straight innings against the G-Ballers with center fielder Ken Kalen, third baseman Norita and relieve catcher Vince Camacho catching fly balls and pitcher Ned Norita striking out 2.
Berdax 16, Freedom Air 12
Kel Kapileo tied the ball game with a run-scoring single, then, Aling Ogumoro added an RBI single to take the lead Berdax kept grip of the advantage to win the game over Freedom Air Flyers.
Jack Guerrero hit two-run home run when they were in the lower ground, and when Berdax took the front seat, repeated his feat to stretch the lead in the fourth inning.
Frank Robert duplicated Guerrero’s hit driving two runs as well and Berdax never trailed.
