The game was already on fire in the first quarter as team player Abuel from Hi-5 scored 9 points; the first 6 points from downtown shots and 4 easy points from the opposing team’s undefended post. But Taj Van Buuren also had an answer to that calling by firing downtown shots of his bagging two of them and pocketing another 4 points from a lay up and a backboard shot. But by the end of the first quarter Hi-5 grabbed a very shaky two point lead over the Ol’ Aces.
Team player Elias Rangamar stood as the coach to the team players Monday night by advising them defense tactics and offense tactics and to keep his players going. He himself did a great job assisting the ball to their center man for backboard shots and lay up’s while his team players did a great job grabbing rebounds.
Team player Marvin Rabauliman was able to slip past Hi-5’s defense and fend 10 points for team Ol’ Aces with coach Rangamar and the crowd cheered him on.
By the third quarter however, Hi-5 stepped their game up and left team Ol’ Aces behind as Edwin Santos of Hi-5 assisted his teammates whit rebounds and fast paced game tactics. With him and David Sablan blowing the court left and right with passes and shot Edwin Santos was able to contribute 8 points while Dave Sablan bagged a whopping 19 points to defeat team Ol’ Aces.

Unfortunately during the entire game session going on, someone had stolen the fuse for the 24 second shot clock. It was working fine during the QQ basketball league and the Emon Lodge basketball league, but when the table officials were setting up for the Bud Cup they hard reported that the fuse was missing for the clock.
The officials did not postpone the game, instead, the referees worked together to keep a mental note of 24 seconds during the first and second game for the Bud Cup giving notice to the players when it was already down to ten seconds.
This caused great disagreements between the coaches and the officials and they are kindly asking for the return of the fuse.
