Father Celso of the Kristo Rai Parish opened the league with an opening invocation, followed by the United Filipino Organization League commissioner who led the oath taking of the competitors and their coaches to a safe, honorable, and friendly competition.
The best muse was then awarded to Marie Castel Cambigan of the Bayani Association’s Souljahs.
The best in uniform was also awarded to the same team whose team colors were yellow and black. Unfortunately there was a rule where in order for the teams to compete in the games they all had to wear uniforms so most of the teams did not make it to the opening games.
