Mangali fired a three-pointer while Ong scored six of his 14 points as Club Wonderful defenders limited the Archers’ scoring spree to six in the second quarter.
Even as Archers’ Noel David rampaged with 11 points in the final quarter, Club Wonderful outscored them as Joseph Galulu sizzled with eight points.
Perry Inos Jr. went ballistic over the entire game as blasted four shots from behind the arc while Alex Lauron strengthen the first quarter with eight of his 19 points to help Pacific Trade Co.-Miller Lite defeat Westco-Asahi, 80-58.
Inos’ first three-pointer came as Lauron kept control of the offense in the first quarter. Then, Inos went on with his bombing campaign firing his second three-point shot in the second quarter, which Erlan Lansang duplicated it to pound Westco, 49-15 towards the end of the first half.
Westco’s Nelson Samson was also firing from outside the rainbow territory but Inos continued the surge to stop him from closing the gap in the third quarter.
Inos fired his fourth three-pointer in the final quarter and Erlan Lansang added four more points to secure their win.
