AS the season nears its end, Bourbon Street Bar & Café Drunken Dart made a last-minute attempt to climb the ladder in the A Division of the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League by beating the no. 1 seed, Spicy Thai Ridin’ Darrty, 11-6, at Bourbon Street Bar & Café on Monday night.

Drunken Dart’s Carlos Rivera shot a 3.11 ppd (points per dart) to bag the first Singles Regular Cricket game. Ridin’ Darrty Charlie Peters, with an even better PPD of 3.43,  won the second game, but Drunken Dart’s Jomar Danas and Diego Nepaial kept the momentum in their favor by claiming the remaining two games of the set to grasp the lead, 3-1.

Drunken Dart then notched a two-win sweep of the Partners 701 games and scored a 3-1 run in the Singles Half-It set to further stretch the deficit, 8-2.

Ridin’ Darrty  started to find their rhythm with Peters and Dhan Mateo bringing in three wins — one as a pair in the Partners Crazy Cricket game and individually in the Singles 501 games. However, Drunken Dart always had an answer, splitting both sets to maintain control.

Facing inevitable defeat, Ridin’ Darrty went down fighting as they claimed the final Team 1101 Cherry In/Double One game before falling to Drunken Dart, 6-11.

For their part, Bistro No Way Out  recorded an upset win by edging Flamingo Vipers, 9-8.
