Down by two as the Brewers captured two straight wins in the best-of-five, the Fielders held it back in Game 3 by beating the Brewers, 13-6.
After tying the finals last week, the Fielders entered the baseball field last Monday oozing with confidence.
Juan Maratita and John Reyes walked before Shane Mendiola drove them in with a single to put up the lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Short stop John Reyes drove in a run as he delivered the Fielders’ third base hit in the second inning and Eli Aughenbaugh hit an RBI single before getting thrown out at the second base.
Pitcher Ionis Rasa struck out two and Reyes caught two fly balls to hold the Brewers scoreless in three straight innings.
With center fielder Vince Cepeda and Ed Kapileo driving in runs on a hit by pitch, and Ron Benavente hitting an RBI single, the Brewers tied the ball game in the top of the fourth inning.
Aughenbaugh brought the lead back by driving in two runs with a sacrifice fly.
Manny Sablan and Jess Mesa singled and scored runs to tied it again in the fifth but Ryan Lisua and Ton set the lead again with a single and a solo shot respectively.
Jason Reyes fired a run-scoring triple, Dave Sablan hit an RBI single and Ton Tenorio rocketed a three-run home run and the Fielders went on to their scoring surge.
The Brewers had six more base hits but were only able to trim down the lead to seven runs and Fielders kept pounding them all the way to the eighth inning for a 20-9 victory.
