Freedom Air bombs CPA, 23-5

Roy Celis and Reno Celis homered, and Roque Camacho hit a run-scoring home run to conclude the game in a 10-run rule victory, 23-5.

Outfielder, Dennis Cruz defeated CPA’s lead batter, Mark Toves and upset next bats man, Mel Manahane while right fielder Shane Yamada stopped Jack Guerrero, preventing CPA from scoring a single run in the first inning.

CPA’s Byron Kaipat hit a home run in the second inning but Yamada, Cruz and shortstop Reno Celis frustrated them again.

Tough defense worked further in the third inning as third baseman, Dante Sablan cut Ed Mendiola and Bill Camacho short of reaching the first base.

Pitcher Roque Camacho walked two and did not have a strike out but allows only seven hits and gave up five runs.

Al Lizama drove-in three with his triple hit in the second and hit a runs-scoring single in the final inning.

Reno Celis had three RBIs, while Sablan, Joe Lizama and Ken Villagomez added two RBIs each.

Joeten Motors 18, P&S 9

Joeten Motors Jets were on losing stance as they went scoreless in the first, second and third innings but launched the winning rally against P&S in the fourth inning to turn the game around for their eighth win.

The Jets slid to the sixth place earlier last week after two consecutive losses.

In the third inning last Thursday, P&S was leading with nine runs.

In a bid to comeback, all Jets batters had base hits in the fourth, except Jason Hayes whose fly ball landed in the hands of P&S’ Jack Diaz, (12-9).

Shine Tenorio went deep from the mound in the bottom of the fourth striking Jack Reyes and John Tomokane. He struck out Wally Chong in the fifth and defeated Tomokane again in the sixth inning.

Hector Efraim had three RBIs and JJ Laniyo, Jess Taitano, Dung Tenorio and Donald Flores added two RBIs each.

Docomo 12, No Zone 6

Docomo defeated No Zone, 12-6 without pushing it too hard in an enduring seven innings.

With only Leo Bobai scoring a run in the second inning, Docomo tightened defense and handing No Zone four empty innings in the middle of the game.

Docomo was already leading by nine runs when No Zone kicked off with four runs, including Manny Sablan’s homer in the sixth inning.

Theo Minor foiled Carl Hocog and Bruce Norita’s attempt to catch up in the seventh inning, while John Acosta upset Jess Wabol to finish the game.

Gloyd Martin sent Leo Bobai home with a sacrifice fly and hit a single in the third inning. Bobai also drove in a run in a sacrifice fly while Acosta singled Tyrone Omar home in the fourth inning.

Bobai struck out two, allowed seven hits, gave up six runs and walked one.
