The sponsorship will allow golf participants a chance to win a brand new 2010 Kia Rio sedan.
“We are happy to assist the NMC Foundation’s efforts in raising funds for higher education in the CNMI,” Matt Deets, general manager of Joeten Motors said.
“The staff and management of Joeten Motors are excited about participating as a hole-in-one prize sponsor,” he added.
The prize sponsorship was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual Golf Foundation Open golf tournament, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“We are thankful to Joeten Motors for their support of the NMC Foundation’s golf tournament,” Ben Babauta, president of the NMC Foundation said.
“The company’s prize sponsorship will undoubtedly entice golfers to participate in the event,” he added.
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.
Saipan Lao Lao Bay Resort West Course will play host to the 8th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament, scheduled for Saturday, April 24. Show time is 6 a.m. and shotgun start is 7 a.m. Registration fee is $95.
