JUST4FUN bagged their eighth straight win in the 2023 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Open League by trouncing Payday Hao, 24-4, Sunday at the Dandan baseball field.
Just4Fun showcased their dominance right from the start, filling the bases quickly. Nate then sent the ball over the fence for the grand slam highlight.
Keith Kintol added a solo homerun while Poland Masaharu ended the opening inning with a two-run homer to give their team the lead, 7-0.
Payday Hao remained silent while Just4Fun’s lead continued to grow with five more homeruns thanks to Jonah Flores who had three RBIs in the second inning. Just4Fun added four more runs in the top of the third.
Payday Hao finally scored in the bottom of the third with Rob Bansil firing a three-run homer followed by Manny Villagomez’s solo homerun.
However, Just4Fun’s Kintol unleashed a three-run homer while teammate Aling hit a solo homerun to regain a 20-point gap.
Payday Hao had one more chance to score, but Just4Fun denied that possibility with three consecutive outs to secure the win in just four innings.
For their part, TutuRamz joined the winner’s circle by defeating No Choice, 18-8.
