Annie La Fleur
ANNIE La Fleur, a retired Women’s National Basketball Association professional and Olympic silver medalist, will visit Saipan to host a week-long clinic for referees and coaches on Sept. 4-8 at the Ada gym and other locations.
Interested individuals who have signed up with the Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation will have the privilege to learn from Fleur, a FIBA referee instructor and a FIBA WABC Level 1 facilitator with a Level 2 coach accreditation.
On Sept. 6 and 7, the coaches clinic will be held from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. while the referees clinic will be held on Sept. 8 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ada gym.
Fleur will also visit Marianas High School on Tuesday and Saipan Southern High School on Thursday.
