Kagman Lions outrun Ol’ Aces, 5-2

Earlier in the first inning, center fielder Frankie Camacho pulled the CTS Ol’ Aces to a 1-0 lead following Aldebert Lizama’s single.

By the top of the third inning, left fielder Vince Torres dashed to the third base on errors by TJ Sablan and Litulumar. Tim Deleon Guerrero’s single sent Torres home to tie the game 1-1.

The Lions advanced in the fifth inning, with their second run made by Deleon Guerrero. He reached the first base on an error by Lancaster Secharmidal and stole his way to the second. The lead-off batter sprinted to third base thanks to a wild pitch by Ol’ Aces’ Jake Santos, and made it home on another error by third baseman John Scanty.

The Ol’ Aces quickly caught up, tying the game 2-2 at the bottom of the fifth. Sablan reached first base on a hit by pitch while right fielder Davie Matagolai struck out. Sablan later stole to first base and returned home on an error by Dela Cruz. The Ol’ Aces posted no runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

Dela Cruz and Leroy Regis finished with three strike outs apiece. The Lions – now holding a 2W-1L record – are sponsored by the Tan Siu Lin Foundation, Rep. Fred Deleon Guerrero, and Rep. Ramon Basa.
