Jack Reyes bamboozled the Xterminators from the mound striking out three and gave up only four base hits and allowed two runs.
Joe Fejeran led-off a single, Dimas Omar drove-in a run on fielder’s choice and Leonard Camacho knocked-in a run-scoring single when the Lancheros took their turn to bat in the bottom of the first inning.
With one out in the third inning, Leonard Camacho loaded the bases after the ball slipped off Xterminator second baseman, Rudy Sablan, then, Jess Cabrera defeated pitcher, John Cepeda moving Anson Jones to the home plate with a walk.
Camacho’s two-run double helped the Lancheros leave the Xterminators three runs behind.
Fejeran singled again in the fourth inning. Ton Reyes and Jones moved to scoring positions before Omar fired a run-scoring single.
Cabrera’s three RBI triple handed the Lancheros a four-run fourth inning.
Fejeran, Jones and Omar drove-in runs with a single to secure Lancheros’ 12-2 victory over the Xterminators.
Ramblers 20, Berdax 16
Tony Pangelinan tied the ball game in the bottom of the fourth inning with two RBI double and Jason Reyes knocked-in a two-run triple in the sixth to power Ramblers past Berdax, 20-16.
Dave Apatang set the lead in the top of the first inning with two-run home run and Jesse Tenorio pushed on with a run-scoring triple in the second inning.
The Ramblers however defended their territory in the top of the three third inning allowing two hits but none of the base runners made it home.
In their turn to bat, the Ramblers lambasted Berdax with seven base hits including Sidney Kani’s two-run triple, and took the lead.
But the Berdax quickly recovered as Aling Ogumoro rocketed a three-run home run in the top of the fourth.
The Ramblers put up a strong defense in the top of the fifth inning and took their turn to hold Berdax scoreless.
