It was the first no-hitter of this year’s season of the Little League Majors Division.
The 2008 pitching champion, Lizama is playing his final season this year as Majors Division little-leaguer.
Ol Aces Little League Majors manager, Elmer Sablan who seemed to have given his players enough amount of motivation they need said it could have been a perfect game if not to the walk Lizama has allowed Gayvan Uchau in the final inning.
But for everybody, it was a perfect game.
“Like what I told him before the game, he is capable of throwing a no-hitter game,” Sablan said noting that Lizama throws 76 to 77 mph fastballs in every game.
In the top of the third inning, Lizama drove-in two runs with his double hit for his first two RBIs of the season.
Tarson Clane hit a triple in the top of the final inning.
After walking Uchao, Lizama continued pitching sharply and struck out Survivors two final batters, until short stopper, Jess Brel and first base man James Kintaro finished the game.
Lizama had 13 strikes out.
Hustlers 6, Dragons 4
The Little League opening last Sunday was attended by hundreds of baseball fans most of them are families and parents of the players.
After the opening ceremony, both the Pangelinan and the Francisco Palacios Ball Fields roared in cheers as young batters and fielders took turns and positions ready for the game.
The first game between the Hustlers and the Dragons started a little bit slow in the first inning although tension and excitement were already in the air.
Hustlers’ Jody Kaipat stunned the Dragons and had the bleachers roared in applause as he hit a triple and drove the first two runs in the second inning.
Then, Kaipat himself dashed home on KJ Guerrero’s past ball.
Ray Saralu drove-in two runs with his double in the fifth inning before Kaipat scored the final winning run in the sixth.
Red Sox 10, Braves 1
Red Sox’ Alex Mongkeya went deep from the mound as he struck out 13 to nail the Tanapag Braves to one-run game.
Craig Aguon sent Nathan Sablan home with his single hit, while Jadrienn Camacho drove-in Mongkeya with a base-in-ball in the third and Jose Tydingco in the final inning.
