Olopai pars in front, shoots 66 in RGA February qualifier

The nine-handicapper slowed down a bit in the back nines shooting three strokes over par 39 to finish with 75 gross and eked out a net of 66.

Olopai also made in closest to the pin in hole No. 15, joining Asterio Tawanpiy who excelled in the hole No. 6.

New member, Jesse Seman who made his appearance for the second time placed second as he shot 78 for a net of 69. Also a nine handicap, Seman struggled in the front nine shooting eight –over par 44 but he erased Olopai’s record hitting two birdies in the back nines.

 Firing two strokes under par 34, Seman finished six strokes under par 78.

Settling for third was Lou Tilipao who fired five-over par 41 in the front nine and six over par in the back.

JJ Atalig who shot 90 tied with Carl Hocog, (87) and Dwain Stephens (92) in net 74.
