Kanoa FC 1 dominates Matansa to stay on top

KANOA Football Club 1 remains at the top of the U12 boys division standings in the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Spring 2026 after defeating Matansa Football Club 6-2 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Saturday.

Kanoa FC 1 showcased a balanced offensive attack, with multiple players finding the back of the net. Jacob Borja, Adrian Mercado, and Liam Palacios each scored two goals, overwhelming the Matansa defense. Despite the loss, Matansa FC showed grit, with Patrick Mansfield scoring both of their goals.

MP United Football Club remains Kanoa FC 1’s biggest threat, sitting in second place with three wins after edging Shirley’s Football Club 7-2. Antonio Heras led MPU’s offensive assault with four goals, while Thomas Flores and Guy Pudney scored two and one goal, respectively. SFC’s Napu Brei and Rockson Cabrera each scored a goal.

In another match, Latte Football Club and Kanoa Football Club 2 settled for a 3-3 draw. LFC was led by Mikko Soriano with two goals and Mark Castro with one, while Kanoa FC 2 equalized with two goals from Lukas Eslaban and one from Kyron Jacob.
