Jun Tabora led Loyola again heating up early in the game with 25 of his 35 points in the first half including three of his four free throws.
Down by two points at the end of the first quarter, Tabora with help from Ariel Jinang and Danny Bicera carried Loyola past GEC and they never looked back.
Melvin Villarin who led Loyola’s offense by pouring-in 12 points in the final half of the game tallied a total of 18 points.
Ferdie Dela Torre and Ed Cosino both added 10 points to secure their 106-75 win.
Saipan Fresh Market 95, New City Int’l Const. 89
erio Pagarao hit the basket nine times in the final quarter while Ryan Sanciangco rampaged with 10 points to help Saipan Fresh Market recover their lead four times and went all the way to their 95-89 victory over New City International Construction.
New City ended the first three quarter with their lead but Saipan Fresh always managed to close-in in the beginning of the quarters.
Pagarao fired a three-pointer to lift Saipan Fresh past New City with his seven points in the second quarter.
The New City cagers took the lead again in the third quarter with Luther Taylor and Joem Benjola scoring four points a piece.
But Saipan Fresh tied the game again halfway to the ball game and with help from the rest of the team, Sanciangco and Pagarao took the lead and hanged on to it towards the ball game for their six-point lead victory.
