The champion teams from the tournament’s two groups routed their respective opponents in the same sequence both, ending each game with 5-1 victory.
Nick Swaim led MP United in defeating Korean Football Association of Saipan with two goals the first hit was in the 33th minute of the first half.
KFAS’ Jang Sung Sik ended the first half in a tie by completing a cross from left field team mate one minute to the half time break.
Yukiomi Adachi and Joe Miller pulled MP United away with goals 10 minutes apart early in the second half as Adam Hardwicke led an aggressive defense in the back field.
Swaim got a shot from the right field in the 29th minute.
The ball hit the bar on his initial attack causing KFAS goalie, Choi Yeoung to clear the way for his follow up kick and scored his second goal.
Richard Brostrom was still warming himself up a couple of minutes after replacing a team mate when the ball came to his direction right at less than 10 yards to the goal. Then, a right foot kick gave MP United its fifth goal of the game.
MP United’s stiff defense in the remaining minutes ended KFAS’ hope to recover.
Inter Godfathers 5, Independents 1
With Chris Nelson hitting the early goal, Inter Godfathers put the game in their hands towards the end of the first half.
Masatoshi Otsuka started the second half with another goal and in just two minutes, John C. Duenas followed suit.
Matthew Holley scored the fourth goal of Inter Godfathers in the 26th minute putting the Independents to a serious task of getting even with 10 minutes left to the ball game.
Jason Shroeder gave it a try as he goaled to cut the lead to two in the 30th minute.
Arkie Resoura however, fired another goal with eight minutes left to secure Inter Godfathers’ victory.
