Racers from 4 to 9 years old have always been around since motocross was first introduced to Saipan many years ago, and today, several kids have registered with the MRA as members.
“We have 20 to 30 kids, but not all race every weekend,” MRA vice president Cuki Alvarez said.

The MRA was able to set up a temporary track for its very young riders in August at the baseball field near the Kan Pacific Pool. Older riders also practice at the temporary race track.
On Sunday, eight kids participated in a 4-lap practice run on their very own miniaturized dirt bikes and ATVs.
Riley Manglona showcased his speed as he topped the event followed by Keenon Togawa, Ezekiel Camacho, Bentley Koshiro, Theresa Borja, Baby Joe Santos, Harley Susulin and Brooklyn Susulin.
“They have improved substantially and are constantly improving every week! They will only get better!” Alvarez said.
