Hoegaarden ignited the winning momentum with team player Elmer Esdrelon, Kirk Schuller, and Darwin Barbo playing fiercely to edge past the Nationals by a flimsy three point lead.
The competition became feisty when Pete Iguel shot an easy jump shot to tie the game at 35 points all. With the crowd spitting out a mixture of encouragement, cheers, and insults the game went on to be legacy. For the last minute of the first half, Esdrelon of Hoegaarden was able to shoot a downtown shot edging past the Nationals with 3 points yet again.
The Nationals fought back fiercely as they did not let team Hoegaarden get that far with the gap throughout the game. As a matter of fact, Hoegaarden was never able to past the Nationals with not more than 5 points from the Nationals.
The second half of the game rolled in fiercely, with the Nationals snatching the driver’s seat of the game away from the Hoegaardens. Joseph Villacrusis of team Nationals was able to slip past Hoegaarden’s defense and successfully collar a three pointer shot giving the Nationals a gateway path to lead by 4 points.
The Nationals worked together successfully bagging jump shots and charities in the final two minutes of the championship game heralding them worthy champions for the Budweiser basketball league.

Shortly afterwards the awarding ceremony took place heralding individuals throughout the league worthy of public praise.
Tony Diaz of team 670 Becks won the most points award followed by Kelvin Fitial of 670 Becks who grabbed the most rebounds award, and then came Zack Diaz of 670 Becks who made the most blocks.
The most assists went Wowie Abuel of tem Hi-5 followed by Elmer Esdrelon of tem Hoegaarden who took home the most steals, and last but not least the best coach went to Rufino Aguon who coached the Nationals team giving them an opportunity to be the top contenders throughout the league.
