The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 5:30 p.m. at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.
Selected athletes will be given an opportunity to compete in the next Zonal Olympic Qualifier to be held in New Zealand in February, 2012.
The CNMI had earlier earned the right to two seats in the next phase of the Olympic Games’ team selection during the Subzonal Olympic Qualifier last March.
Tryouts are open to all interested coaches and players in the CNMI. Players must hold a U.S. passport, be 15 years old or above by February, 2012, and be able to commit to a rigorous training schedule.
Selected players should expect to contribute in covering their travel costs.
The CNMI National Team’s beach volleyball coach Russ Quinn will provide information on training, commitments, responsibilities, and other relevant information.
