Mobil hands Prospects another loss

Suffering yet another shortage of the wins team Prospect continues to bravely face their foes during the league; but without a doubt team Mobil, brigaded by Coach Marvin Deocares, snatched the lead from the start of the game until its epilogue.

During the first quarter of the game team Mobil lead by 6 points, 26-20, 7 points during the second quarter, 44-37, 18 points during the third quarter, 66-48, and the last quarter of the game team Mobil garnered a 25 point lead, 97-72 handing team Prospect yet another loss.

Banjo Basilia impressed the crowd Monday night by stealing four successful three pointer shots to tally 12 points throughout the first quarter. Teammate Bon Tamayo refused to let all the actions go to Basilia and he too nailed a couple of jump shots to contribute his six pence in.

The rest of the quarter remained a little dormant and lacking less spirit but nonetheless, Mobil edged past the Prospects 26-20.

Both teams entered the second quarter bravely. But the Prospects lacked man-power to heave past the Mobils who were almost complete with the lack of Ehroll Peredo, Jhun Estolas, and a couple other players.

Team Mobil took major advantage of Prospect’s lack of players with quick plays, fast feet, and good defensive tactics. By the time the siren rang to seal the first half of the game shut, Mobil was leading by 7 points, 44-37.

With the opening of the second half of the game team Mobil completely crushed team Prospect. Fatigue and weariness got the better part of Mobil’s foes and they retired half way through the game by missing most of their shots and letting Mobil’s guards and forwards shoot past them.

Marvin Rabauliman garnered a total of 12 points during the third quarter of the game with most of his shots being alley-up’s. Mobil then gripped a 66-48 deficit.

Mobil claimed the win in the last quarter of the game to store it safely away from the Prospects. Fast footwork, teamwork, and offensive tactics earned Mobil their win as they look forward to rallying into the play off’s season that’s fast approaching, 97-72.
