The clash between the two of the best teams was the only game that made it because the scheduled games between Advance Xterminators and Berdax, and Team Fuegu and G-Ballers were rained out.
Ken Kalen opened the game with a solo home run before Dustin Quitano and Jr Suel were stranded in the first base as Pete Tegeita was thrown out.
The Natibu fielders did not allow a run in the bottom of the first inning keeping most of Saipal batters in the dug out.
Bruce Norita drove-in a run with a double, Jonathan Welson had two RBI triple and Ken Kalen fired his second base hit—a run-scoring single in the second inning.
Quitano also had his second base hit that drove-in two runs, as the Natibu sluggers still enjoyed a big lead at the end of the inning.
Pete Tegeita hit a solo home run and BJ Sablan fired a two-run home run leading Natibu’s rally in the top of the third inning.
Quitano drove-in two runs on third base hit and Suel had two RBI double before Saipal’s Paython Sakuma struck out Tegeita.
The Saipal batters also rallied in the third with Cliffton Siliil leading off a run-scoring double.
Saipal sent the Natibu defenders on a series of catching errors as they succeeded with five base hits to cap a nine-run third inning that cut Saipal’s lead down to three.
Lawrence Dikito knocked-in a three-run home run and Jason Hayes soloed to help Saipal zoom past Natibu in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Vic Salas hit Natibu’s third home run of the game and with Suel’s two-run double, Natibu recovered the lead.
Natibu pulled away and had finished the seventh inning with fur runs to secure its win.
