Natibu routs Go for Broke to remain undefeated

 

JR Suel grand slammed in the top of the third and fired a two-run shot in the fourth inning to help secure a 14-run mercy rule win, 19-2.

Norita and Sato Manalo had an RBI single apiece, while BJ Sablan drove-in two runs with his single to set the lead in the first inning.

The Natibu defenders did not allow Go for Broke to score a run in the bottom of the second.

Then, they went on to streak in the third. Bruce Norita doubled and Pete Tegeita drove him in with single.

Ken Kalen doubled too, before Suel launched the grand slam.

Suel shortened Go for Broke’s time in the batting plate by striking out Ken Pangelinan. Suel gave up a walk then, Kalen caught George Cruz fly ball to finish them off.

Back to the batting plate, the Natibu sluggers continued the scoring surge. With one out, Vince Camacho doubled, Bruce singled and Sablan hit his second run-scoring single.

Kalen drove-in two with a single before Suel fired his two-run home run.

Xterminators 25, Red Eye 3

The Advance Xterminators went unstoppable as they blurred Red Eye’s sight by pounding them with base hits in three straight innings to secure a 21-run mercy rule victory.

John Acosta led off a walk, then, Jay Cabrera fired an RBI single.  Angel Reyes hit a two-run single and Manning Cabrera had an RBI double to pull the Xterminators away in the first inning.

Acosta hit an RBI double, Dennis Ngekebei, a two-run triple before John Taitano rocketed a solo home run to stay afloat in the second inning.

The Natibu sluggers showed no mercy as Cabrera led off a double, Ben Cabrera knocked-in a runs-coring single and Dennis Ngeskebei drove-in run on fielders’ choice.

Jay Cabrera had a two RBI single before Taitano connected a three-run home run.

Calikano Falcons 22, Team Fuegu 10

Navan Falig hit a three-run home run in the second and Darren Pua, a two-run homerun and the Calikano Falcons did not trail to beat Team Fuegu, 22-10.

Nunu Kapileo hit a two-run home run to make the Falcons remain strong in the sixth inning.

And when Team Fuegu cut the lead big time with Izaiah Falig and Marsen Siten firing a two-run HR in the bottom of the six, the Falcons’s respond was quick. After DJ Omar and Ben Leon Guerrero’s walk, Emoa Iguel knocked-in an RBI double, and the Falcons never looked back.
