Natibu ended up taking 1st place, with Man Amigos giving them a run for their money.
At any rate, the final match went to Natibu who ended up winner in the 5th inning.
The champion team received $200, four cases of Miller Lite beer, 20 waterpark passes, lunch certificates for two persons at PIC-Magellan restaurant, and a case of Gatorade.
Man Amigos came through the loser’s bracket, beating Miller Chill Boys and Nang.
Man Amigos beat Natibu in the first game in the championship but were forced to play again in accordance to the double elimination format.
The team took home the following prizes: two cases of Miller Lite beer, two cases of Gatorade energy drink, and 20 waterpark passes at PIC.
Third place went to Nang, who got two cases of Mickey’s beer and one case of Gatorade.
PIC also saw action in the field during the tournament.
The PIC Softball Tournament ran fro three days, starting Friday last week.
Major sponsors of the tournament were Shell, PIC, Gatorade, and Miller Lite.
