With Ryan Sancianggco who finished with 25 points leading Hoopaholics scoring spree in the first and second quarter, the Nationals had to tighten defense to prevent the gap from opening wide.
Cruz, Iguel and Jomary Tumaquip went aggressive in the back court with four steals to keep a close distance.
They turned the game around in the third quarter but the Hoopaholics won’t give make easy for them and final quarter ended for an over time, 75-75.
Both teams kept it tie for another over, 81-81, until Cruz managed to lift Nationals in the final minute for their one-point victory.
Ol’ Aces 88, Runnin’ Rebels 72
Fred Pelisamen went unstoppable to scatter 29 points and pushed Ol’ Aces to claim another victory by pounding Runnin’ Rebels, 88-72.
Romeo Iginoef who scored 22 points possessed most balls with 12 rebounds and Gabriel White added nine points.
