No Zone in 2-game winning streak over P&S

Bruce Norita hit a three-run homer to set a wide gap in the top of the first inning while Jerry Ayuyu rocketed a solo homerun in the third to lead No Zone to its 13-9 victory over Procurement & Supply last Sunday.

Norita also hit a run-scoring double and single to complete his five RBIs. In the final inning, he drove-in another run as he sacrificed on fielder’s choice.

Ayuyu also drove-in a run in a sacrifice fly in the first inning.

Carl Hocog struck out one but he also allowed only one run, gave up two hits and one walk. Norita who took the mound in the bottom of fifth allowed six hits and two walks.

During last Friday’s game, Bruce Norita and Ayuyu had Ned Norita and Manny Sablan with them doing the home run spree against Pacific Island Club.

While Bruce hit a solo home run and Ayuyu a two-run homer, Ned and Sablan lambasted PIC with run-scoring home runs.

Ned and Sablan finished with four RBIs, Kent Kalen three RBIs including a three-run single hit and Gary Cruz, two RBI singles.

Jets 14, Mayor’s Office 3

Also last Friday, Joeten Motor Jets turned its ire at Mayor’s Office crushing them with 11-run deficit to keep hanging on in the top five.

They bowed to Commonwealth Health Center, 13-6 during a make-up game on Tuesday last week.

Hector Efraim fired a run-scoring home run while Cliff Sill launched the sixth inning attack with a solo-home run before Donald Flores finished Mayor’s Office off with two strike outs.

Ben Taisacan drove-in three with his triple hit in the final inning and singles in the first and second.

POI 14, CRM/DEQ 8

Going back to last Sundays’ game, Pacific Oriental Corp. fielders held Coastal Resource Management/Division of Environmental Quality scoreless in three straight innings to give them a hard catching and claimed their 14-8 win.

POI lambasted CRM/DEQ with base hits in the first and third innings.

Mabel Ngirngemelas drove-in two runs with a triple in the first, single hit in the third and a sacrifice fly to CRM/DEQ center field, Shalon Masga in the final inning.

Kyle Kaipat added two RBIs with a double hit and drove-in two more runs from CRM/DEQ catcher, Ben Cabrera’s error.

Meanwhile, Commonwealth Utilities Corp. inched its way a game higher after Pacific Island Club failed to complete its line-up.
