McAskell sizzled with 11 of his 14 points in the final quarter while Jao Bernardo and Lazona added six more points each to help Olivos finish off the Jaypers and improve to third place of this year’s season.
Camacho went consistently ballistic in the inside play as Aris Olivos joined him in the scoring spree during the second quarter.
Olivos continued the surge in the third quarter helping his team pull away from the Jaypers.
Lazona and Bernardo were always behind McAskell as they continued the rally and secured their victory.
PTC 65, San Roque 59
Pacific Trading Company continue to survive the season as Perry Inos Jr., maintained his pulse hitting three-points hosts three times in the game to lead his team to their 65-59 victory over San Roque.
Inos established the lead in the first quarter by bombarding San Roque with 12 points including his two three-pointers.
San Roque clamped on PTC’s offense keeping Inos scoreless. The San Roque defenders also curbed PTC attackers score to two points each and cut the lead to two points towards the end of the first half.
Alex Lauron however fired six points for the third quarter opener and Inos chipped in four more points.
Lauron heated up in the final quarter leading PTC with 11 of his 21 points including a three-point shot.
