Mortos who did not see enough action in the first quarter turned to be Pacific Gold’s fatal weapon as he helped took the lead with a three-pointer in the second half.
He continued the surge with a pair of two-pointers in the third, followed by a foul-picking jumper to hand Pacific Gold his first three-point play.
Francis Seraw and Benjie Sahaguo helped established the lead in the first quarter. Seraw sizzled with 13 points including a three-pointer, while Sahaguo finished with 12 points, and Guiang who backed him up in the third, chipped in 10 points.
Louigi Iglesias and Anciro helped protect the lead in the final quarter. Iglesias scored nine points including a long-range shot while Aciro had five points in the crucial part of the second half.
