MP United beats Tinian in Liberation Movement Day football tournament

Hosted by the Korean Football Association of Saipan, the tournament drew seven teams including Saipan’s power house teams.

One of the Tinian Dynasty defender got a call for a hand ball that put Miller on the 35-yard spot from which he launched the ball through the area just hair strands away from the bar.

Then, the MP United held the ground to keep the Tinian Dynasty scoreless through out the second half to win the championship.

MP United made it to the finals after beating Independent Football Club, 1-0 from a long-range shot of Yuki Adachi as he goaled in the 11th minute of the first half from 50 yards.

Tinian Dynasty on the other hand clinched the finals by defeating Wild Bills, 3-2 in the semi final round.

The other teams that participated in the tournament that marked the Liberation Day of Korean dated March 1, are Inter-Godfathers, Korean Football Association of Saipan and the KFAS Junior.
