BISTRO Paiwel continues to hold on to a top-five spot in the ladies division leaderboards of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League with a win-loss record of 96–69 after defeating XXX In The Middle, 9–6, in last Monday’s match at the Bistro in Garapan.
Paiwel set the tone early thanks to their individual skill sets, pulling off a 3-1 run in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out set. Viann “Bing” Wabol led the charge with a 15.84 PPD, while Nicky “Aguguat” Mikel and Benita Seman each posted a PPD of 14.33. In The Middle’s Caitlyn Crisostomo denied the sweep by taking one of the four games.
In The Middle tried to keep morale high, with Crisostomo and Wilma Lieto splitting the following Partners Crazy Cricket set, 1-1. However, Paiwel found their rhythm in pairs and swept the Partners 501 set, extending their lead to 6–2.
In The Middle wasn’t done yet, mounting a rally during the Singles Regular Cricket set with a 3-1 run, thanks to Mona Camacho (2.64 PPD), Lieto (2.20 PPD), and Jayda Babauta (1.93 PPD), narrowing the gap to 7–5.
But despite In The Middle’s efforts, Paiwel shut the door with a 2-0 sweep in the Partners Half-It set to clinch the win. Before accepting defeat, In The Middle made sure to go down swinging, taking the final Team 1101 game to ease the loss, 9-6.
