Patriots rout IT&E in 6th win; Lizama retires 12 for Ol’ Aces

Except of Yoichi Arurang, the Patriots switched defensive positions and it worked well enough to nail Northern to two runs scored in the bottom of the third.

Starting pitcher Jeremy Rabauliman had four strike outs before he was relieved by Chris Mizer who had to leave the mound after the bottom of the third due to injured back. Henry Rabauliman ended Northern’s third inning with strike-out and retired two more in the fourth.

Raymond Saralu took care of the mound in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings and struck out four to finish Northern off.

Jeremy singled, stole second base then, Henry moved him to the scoring spot with single before Arurang drove him in on a fielder’s choice.

The Patriots never trailed all the way to the sixth inning where Kent Kalen got he first base on a base-on-ball before Saralu drove him in with a single.

Ol’ Aces 17, Lion Heart 2

Jeremy Lizama has started to show once again why he graduated from the major league as a no-hitter star.

Last Wednesday’s game against the Kagman Lion Heart is definitely not a no-hitter one but Lizama, now posting 2.33 ERA in the latest stats, struck out 12—a pitch count that will catapult him to the top of the pitching leaders over those who have been in the junior league before he came.

Lizama now shares the strike outs list’s Top 5 slots with team mate AJ Lizama who had 10 strike outs against the Survivors last weekend, and is right behind another junior ace pitcher, Patriot’s Jared Lizama who tallied 35 strike outs.

After a scoreless bottom of the first inning, Lizama knocked-in an RBI single in the second, and blasted a two-run inside-the-park home run in the third to help the Patriots keep on gaining ground.

With Jona firing a two-run single, the Ol’ Aces continued the streak then, TJ Sablan added an RBI single to finish off the Lions.
