QQ All-Stars match to kick off on June 19

“The top two seeded coaches will be the tactician of the two teams during the upcoming All-Stars competition,” said league commissioner Rey Perez in an email to Variety.

“We invite the public to watch this exciting match between top-notch players participating in the QQ League this Sunday,” added Perez.

The Variety learned that there will be fun games scheduled for the fans before the All-Stars match begins. The games include the Buzzer Beater Challenge, Half-Court shootout, Tap-Board Challenge, and the Three-point shootout.

“Everyone is highly encouraged to join the games and there’ll be prizes prepared for each game,” said Perez.

The playoffs season will kick off next week Wednesday June 22, followed by the semifinals match on Friday, June 24.

“There will be a one week rest period for the players before the championship match,” explained Perez. The Championship for the 2nd Season QQ Car Rental Basketball League is scheduled for July 4 at 8p.m.

There will also be a 12-and-under exhibition match for the youth players in care of the Rollers Basketball Club’s Joe Diaz.

The presentation of the individual awards such as the seasonal Most Valuable Player award will be announced during the half-time game of the championship match.

“I would like to bid all of the teams ‘good luck’ during the final weeks of our basketball cup,” added Perez.

The playoff season of the 2nd Season QQ Car Rental Basketball League is held at the Garapan Court every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.

Moreover, the league coordinators would like to remind public that there will be no games tomorrow, June 17.
