ROP 10: ‘Bad Intentions’ kicks off March 11

Saipan’s very own Jason Tarkong and Guam’s TJ Cruz are set to collide in ROP 10’s main event at 156-170 lbs. Cruz – hailing from Kisetsu Warriors – is currently undefeated at two wins and no losses. The more experienced Tarkong holds a 9W-2L record.

In a ‘USA vs. Saipan Super Fight,’ Trench Tech’s Giovanni ‘Palakse’ Sablan (17W-5L) will take on Will ‘The Kill’ Chope (1W-1L).

The night features a rematch between Marianas Elite’s Derrick ‘El Peligro’ Rangamar (4W-8L) and another Trench Tech fighter – Chris ‘No Luv’ Laayung (6W-1L) at 136-145 lbs.

The Kisetsu Warriors will also pin Justin Salas against Ningbo ‘Slice’ Cepeda (2W-3L) at 186-205 lbs. Ningbo ‘Slice’ defeated Ryan ‘Trobz’ Ngirbabul via tap-out in Trench Tech’s Fan Appreciation Night last December.

Mylo ‘Alabama’ Lassiter (1W-0L) and Team Zalaka’s Moses ‘King Kong’ Buekis (0W-2L) are scheduled to fight at 206-265 lbs.

In another bout, the undefeated Alverick Alvarez (6W-0L) will see how his perfect record holds up against Ben ‘Out Of Gas’ Duenas (1W-1L).

Guam’s Ben Quinata will be making his debut against Marianas Elite’s Maitai ‘The Charger’ Charley (2W-6L) at 146-155 lbs.

An exhibition match is scheduled between PJ ‘Lightning’ Litulumar and Josenio ‘Little Bear’ Alvarez.

Team Zalaka’s Harry Nekaifes will then face Barrigada BJJ Guam’s Kekai King in a submission bout.

Other fights include:

Juan Ogarto (0W-1L) vs. Prescott Cabrera (1W-0L) at 155-170 lbs;

Eric Aguon (Debut) vs. Josh Cruz (1W-2L) at 136-145 lbs;

John ‘The Prophet’ Moses (0W-1L) vs. Danny ‘The Warrior’ Santos (1W-0L) at 146-155 lbs;

Counter Shot Guam’s Leandro Dalalo vs. Frank ‘The Crippler’ Atalig at 126-135 lbs;

Tom Villagomez vs. Tavita Lueta at 136-145 lbs (K-1 Kickboxing);

Counter Shot Guam’s Kevin Miranda vs. Josh Duenas (Debut) at 145 lbs;

and Joe Aldan vs. Juan Langsangan at 145 lbs (Boxing).

Trench Tech seeks an opponent for Shane ‘Pikaboo’ Alvarez (4W-0L, 136-145 lbs).

The fight card is subject to change, according to TT president Cuki Alvarez. Tickets sell for $20 each.
