Saures who started slow in the front nine during the qualifier last Feb. 13, went 3-over par 36 in the back nine to gross 82.
The 17-handicapper finished with 65 net leading Joe Wabol by one stroke to top the qualifying round.
“The Enforcer” also exerted a good effort to beat his own qualifying net but Tars Olopai went par 36 in the front nine to stay strong and win the first place.
Olopai remained strong in the back firing 2-over par 38 to finish with 67 net, besting all the other RGA golfers that day, while Saures shot 70.
Joe Wabol settled for the third place with 74 net, and Jess Wabol who went 1 under-par 35 in the back nine finished with 73.
Joe Wabol shot closest to the pin in Hole No. 6 while Saures got closest to the pin in Hole No. 15.
