During a meeting last Monday, the Saipan Little League officials met at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym conference and made a draft picks for the Senior All-Stars.
Little League officials, however, declined to reveal who are this year’s picks, saying they have to wait for the other divisions to finish before they will come up with the complete and final lists of All-Stars.
Fielders won the championship in the senior division as they shut out Lion King during the final game last weekend.
Tony Rogolifoi, one of the League officials said there are still a couple of weeks to wait untill they have all the division games done.
In the Big Little League division, the D9ers and Falcons are likely to face in the playoff and finals.
In the Junior Division, Ol’ Aces and Patriots are vying for final berth.
The majors division is still in the regular season.
Little League District Administrator James Ada has earlier announced that the 2009 12th Annual District Tournaments in majors and juniors division will be held on Saipan on June 5, 6 and 7.
Rota, Tinian and defending champion, Saipan will be competing in this level to advance to the Regional tournament, Ada said.
The Regional tournaments for the juniors, seniors and big divisions will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from June 23 to 28.
Indonesia will be hosting the Little League Regional tournament for the first time.
