The run will launch from the Salvation Army Headquarters located in Beach Road across Hopwood Junior High School. The course continues along Beach Road with the turning point at the Koblerville Mobil Station.
A unique entry fee of only one-perishable food item per person is required. The race starts at 8 a.m.
Medals and prizes will go to the top three finishers in the male, female, and youth divisions.

Spearfishing tourney coming up
The 5th Annual Spearfishing Tournament is all set for Saturday, June 25 at the Smiling Cove Marina.
Up to three men are allowed per team, with an entry fee of $50 per person. Registration is scheduled for June 24 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Smiling Cove.
The competition starts 6 a.m. and ends 3 p.m.
