First lined up agenda is the technical training for officials where the association teaches a beginning level course for people interested in learning how to organize and officiate at swimming competitions. A cost free FINA sponsored event that will start on June 7 and ends on the 12th of that same month.
Second is the pool competition for novices, 8 years old and under through to the Master’s level that will run for two days at the Meyuns pool on June 11 – 12. This is in preparation for potential competitions that could familiarize young swimmers to participate in a more challenging level.Lastly is the Open Water Swim contest hosted by the Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) on June 13. This is the 4th annual PPR open water swim. Contestants have choices form different categories. The Open Ocean Swim also offers a great day of fun and activities with prizes and good food.Application forms for interested individuals are available at the Palau National Gymnasium or at the National Pool located in Meyuns, seaplane ramp.
