Senator Surangel Whipps Jr. presented the donation to Chairman of the Micronesian Games Organizing Committee and President of the Palau National Olympic Committee, Frank Kyota. Joining Mr. Kyota is Secretary General of the Palau NOC, Ms. Baklai Temengil.
The 2010 Micronesian Games kicks off on the 1st of August that will end on the 10th of the same month, brings in ten participating island countries from the region namely, Chuuk, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, Pohnpei, Kriribati, Nauru, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Yap, Guam, and the Republic of Palau who will be hosting the said event.
