According to the NMIVA’s website, FIVB has yet to select the right instructor to visit the Northern Marianas Islands.
“FIVB apologized profusely, but they are experiencing some organizational changes that are currently being directed by FIVB President Wei. The good news is that Wei’s agenda is heavy on development, especially for Category 1 nations, which include the CNMI. NMIVA is hopeful that this means that the CNMI may be offered more opportunities for development assistance,” said NMIVA President Laurie Peterka.
NMIVA will be waiting for further instructions from FIVB and will post updates in its website when information is available.
Despite the course’s delay, online registration is still available for those who are interested. As posted by Laurie Peterka at the NMIVA website, “Our online registration system offers the option to enter dates and times that you would prefer.” The NMIVA will be relying on this information to determine a proper schedule with the FIVB.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause anyone and we are hopeful that you will be able to stick with us and attend at our revised schedule in October,” said Peterka.
