This year’s track and field competitions will be a little different bit different from previous competitions.
Organizers of the track and field events have decided to also include other special events for older students who may be interested to participate in this year’s track and field competitions.
The organizers of the event would like to see the finest among all the young athletes who could qualify to join Team Yap in the 2010 Micro Games to be held in Palau next year.
Those track and field athletes who have shown improvement over their past competitions will be considered for continued training by the Yap Track and Field Federation prior to the upcoming Micronesian Games in Palau.
All the athletic competitions will be held at the Track and Field in Tamor, Tomil from May 9-10.
Organizing group is advising those interested in being a vendor at this event contact those people whom they have assigned for booth arrangement and payment so they can explain to them what they should do before and after the track events.
