CHRISTIAN Omnes and Michael Muna ended the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light League awards banquet with a bang by winning the blind draw tournament with ease Saturday at the Pacific Islands Club.
Omnes and Muna worked well as a team as they quickly disposed their opponents in the single elimination event.
The duo first went up against Dean Borja and John Rebuenog who were no match against Omnes and Muna.
Omnes and Muna then eliminated Joker Camacho and JJ Seman in round 2 and bagged their third consecutive win against Raymond Naluz and Jordon Hayes to reach the semifinals.
Their next opponents were Pam Ybanez and Jaime Reyes who were also undefeated.
But once again, Omnes and Muna were too much to handle, easily beating Ybanez and Reyes.
In the finals, Omnes and Muna faced another undefeated pair, Frances Magofna and Garnet Martin.
Both teams fought hard and gave it their all, but as the dust settled, Omnes and Muna emerged victorious.
They received the 1st place trophy and $370.
Magofna and Martin took home a trophy and $220 while Ybanez and Reyes, who finished third, Jason John and Mason Omelap, who placed fourth, received a $150 cash prize.
