(Press Release) — Saipan Fishermen’s Association officers were on hand to receive a category donation of $2,250 from the Triple J Saipan Group for the upcoming 37th Annual Saipan International Fishing Tournament. The Triple J Saipan group will be sponsoring this year’s Mahi-Mahi category with payouts to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.
The 37th Saipan International Fishing Tournament takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11, at Smiling Cove Marina. The tournament’s official time will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
The public is encouraged to bring the family to see some of the local fishermen’s finest catch of the islands’ bountiful pelagic fishes.
