THE leaders continue to solidify their top rankings in their respective classes after the completion of round 6 of the Marianas Racing Association Points Race Series on Sunday at Cowtown Raceway Park.
PeeWee 1
In the PeeWee 1 class, Ezekiel Camacho remains at the top of the food chain after earning yet another first place finish. Camacho topped one of the two heats on Sunday, and it was enough to secure first with a total of 47 points. He now has a grand total of 254 points.
Zane Fujihira finished second on Sunday and collected 42 points. He is also second overall with 231 points which gives him a chance to overtake Camacho in the seventh and final round.
Although Conan Iakopo placed fourth on Sunday with 35 points — behind Roman Tudela with 38 points — Iakopo remains in third place overall with a total of 229 points.
PeeWee II
In the PeeWee II class, Jonoah Santos, 8, clinched his sixth consecutive flawless finish with 50 points and now has a grand total of 300 points to remain first overall.
Taking second place in round six was late-comer Conan Iakopo with 44 points. Despite participating in only the last two rounds, he has shown that he can be one of the top riders in his class.
Keenon Togawa finished fourth on Sunday to earn 36 points, but he is still second place overall with a total of 246 points.
TJ Ferrer, who finished third with 40 points on Sunday, is also third overall with 204 points.
PeeWee ATV
In the PeeWee ATV class, Brooklyn Susulin still leads the pack even though she finished fourth on Sunday with 22 points. The 4-year-old still stands strong overall with a total of 240 points.
Finishing first for three consecutive rounds was Keoni Rosario who is quickly rising in the overall standings. He is currently third overall with 194 points — four points behind Skyler Togawa, who came in second on Sunday with 40 points to garner a total of 198 points.
Ryan Borja likewise notched 40 points on Sunday but he finished fourth in heat 2 which gave Togawa the number two spot in round six.
Borja is fifth overall with 80 points.
Mini I
In the Mini I class, Devin Yumul finished first with a perfect 50 points on Sunday for a grand total of 284 points to remain the overall leader.
Stanley Iakopo Jr., who was unable to join some of the previous rounds, finished second on Sunday with 44 points. He is sixth overall with 107 points.
Vicente Palacios came in third on Sunday with 40 points and is now fourth overall with a total of 172 points.
Harley Susulin, who gained 36 points for finishing fourth on Sunday, is second place overall with a total of 230 points.
Mini II
In the Mini II class, Michael Camacho’s streak has yet to be broken as he earned his sixth 50-point finish, leading the overall standings with 300 points total.
Ethan Yumul finished second on Sunday with 44 points and is also second overall with 264 points.
Audiescott Iakopo placed third on Sunday with 40 points to edge Mariana Alvarez.
But Audiescott Iakopo still has a long journey to the top as he is currently seventh overall while Alvarez is third overall with 214 points.
Mini ATV
In the Mini ATV class, Theresa Borja is still the overall leader as her second place finish on Sunday gave her 45 points and a grand total of 295 points.
Jesus Santos was the round’s top finisher with 47 points which gave him a grand total of 265 points.
In third overall is Melvin Reyes who, despite finishing fifth with 34 points on Sunday, has an overall total of 208 points.
The seventh and last round will be held next month.
Brooklyn “Ryder Gurl” Susulin, 4, leads the Peewee ATV division on her Suzuki LT50cc. Her team: Naughty Natives.
Ezekiel “EZ-Mezzing” Borja Camacho, 9, is the current points leader in the PeeWee I division. His ride is a Highper 110cc.
Jonoah “Zeek Da Freak” Santos, 8, leads the PeeWee II division on his KTM50SX dirtbike. His team: Naughty Natives.
Theresa “Raptor Beast” Borja, 11, leads the Mini ATV division on her Yamaha Raptor 90cc. Her team: Naughty Natives.
Michael Jr. “Para Ke Yu” Camacho, 13, leads the Minis 2 division on his 2013 KX85cc. His team: Trench Tech.
Devin Yumul, 13, leads the Minis 1 division with a KTM65cc bike. He’s with the True Value Race Team.
