THE Truth is the CNMI is blessed with some AWSOME-BRILLIANT-MORALLY GROUNDED youth which is a signal that the future of the CNMI is going to be much brighter than the present and even glowing. The speeches from the students on “birthright citizenship” were just AWSOME and they were BRILLIANTLY written with the obvious foundation of MORAL FIBER that left me just in Awe! KUDOS to these students, their parents and their teachers for equipping them with a good moral foundation and being educated about the Supreme Laws of our nation.  It was so refreshing to see our youth “speaking TRUTH to the POWER of our Constitution” and sharing their own experiences of growing up under “Filipino, Chinese, Chamorro, Carolinian and American cultural influences.” The great thing is, “where there is one, there are many MORE” who don’t see “color or race” but the beauty of a diverse cultural upbringing with no biasness or prejudice, which tells me there is real hope for a BETTER & BRIGHTER future in the CNMI. Unlike today when “local” implies only Chamorros & Carolinians, ONE DAY, ALL living here will be considered “LOCAL” regardless of one’s ethnicity. The future won’t have “racial walls & levels of social stratification,”  but a level & equal playing field for EVERY American seeking the American Dream in the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

In fact, if our leaders would try harder to use & live-up to our PROPER name of the “United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands” the CNMI will be a BETTER place to live & work. The students seem to already know that the MORE the CNMI is like America in living up to OUR Federal & Supreme Laws of our nation the Better-Off WE will all be instead of this third world DRAMA Prejudices driven by politicians who still practice “backroom sitting-strategy, bigotry, favoritism, nepotism & political skullduggery” over doing what is Right & Best FOR the People and OUR Commonwealth. I think I’ve proven too many times and even listed 33 things that they would rather see the CNMI “miss-out on progress & suffer before trying to do anything suggested by Ambrose M Bennett” — the outsider who is a fellow American but scorned by the “wicked” because he TOOK & DEMANDED some ownership in the CNMI as a citizen. One Day, this “outsider syndrome” will be dead and gone with our youth lighting the torch to burn it & carrying the banner of “equality FOR all.”

Being a public-school teacher, I have former Chamorro/Carolinian students who are now elected politicians but now they want to think they are smarter & even better than their teacher” and one even attacked me with lies in the comment section in the name of Republican Ugly Politics — sad but TRUE!  But I doubt if students from the Religious Based schools will do things like this as adults due to the tremendous grounding of their moral fiber established in religious based schools.  But the essays were written by students from “Religious Based Schools” were parental support & expectations are “different & higher” than public schools. In fact, I did some research that PROVED “the only major differences between public & private religious based schools were Parental Support & EXPECTATIONS.” Both public & private institutions use resources & teachers that are virtually the same but there is a higher EXPECTATION for MORALITY and to behave & do your work in private schools and parents are more hands-on in private schools because they are paying for the services. So, I’m not surprised to see these amazing speeches coming from students in Private Religious Based Schools that are clearly doing an awesome job in preparing their youth to be GREAT people, citizens & leaders of tomorrow — KUDOS to Grace Christian Academy & Mount Carmel for a job WELL DONE!

I didn’t use the names of these awesome students as WE have a lot of “you-know-what Republicans” in the comment section who DO NOT have morals and will attack anyone, even children, especially if Ambrose says they did something good or great — this is the TRUE bigotry that I often mention and if you don’t believe me just read the comments to this op ed unless they turn coward as they are already cowards hiding behind phony names — LOL!  But if you didn’t read the amazing speeches of TRUTH by these students, you should go back to the Opinion section to read their awesome work of citizenry on Birthright Citizenship. It is written in the Bible that “WE can learn from our children and even the ants,” which is something that many adults & especially power-struck politicians who don’t adhere to doing in real life. However, WE should all be “life-long learners with open, objective & fair minds” to make the CNMI and even the world a BETTER Place.
