I am 100 percent in support of Rota Mayor Benjamin T. Manglona’s plan to build a huge first-class “Global Country of World Peace” in our beautiful Island of Rota.
I support this based on proposals and the four resolutions passed by the representative of the Global Country of World Peace and our honorable mayor on the matter.
The planned “peace university” is interesting for our students as they will have this great opportunity to have a learning institution on Rota.
The student will not anymore risk their lives traveling in different places to upgrade their knowledge or their working skills because they have their own university on the island.
This huge first class Global Country of World Peace will pour in so many millions of dollars to our municipality, 10 times bigger than what it received at a total amount of $15.6 million every fiscal year.
Therefore, I am very pleased and happy to urge my beloved people of Rota to please set aside the politics and help our very nice honorable mayor in his plan to build this first-class business on the island.
Our proud and nice mayor did his best he could to brighten our island, inviting investors.
This is the right time, and its a great opportunity for the CNMI people to have this big company.
Once this Global Country of World Peace becomes operational and pay taxes, the mayor will improve the quality of service such as the Rota Health Center through medical supplies and medicine, enough funding to buy a hemodialysis machine, hire doctor and additional nurse.
He will also improve the quality of service at the Rota Liaison office, provide additional housing facilities for Rota patients and its employees, give allowance for patients and family escort traveling to Saipan, Guam, Hawaii, and the mainland.
Also there will be improvement of Rota Elementary School and high school books and office supplies for the students, funds to improve the tourist sites such as the attractive Teteto Beach, Uyulan Beach, Tatgua Beach, swimming hole site, Sasan Haya Bay for diving sports.
There will also be funds to improve the Rota highway project, water and power facilities and the harbor.
Our perfect view and the beautiful beaches will attract more visitors to our island for site-seeing, honeymoon, diving, picture taking, sunbathing, swimming, etc.
Please help support our very brilliant and intelligent honorable mayor for his nice plan. The honorable mayor’s mind and heart are not only for his family and himself, but for the entire CNMI people.
Once this project is finished, commercial passenger jetliner will resume their daily flight, bringing in tourists from different places like Europe, Asia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, United States, mainland China, and Hong Kong to spend their vacation.
Again, thank you, Mr. Manglona for your very nice plan to turn around our ailing, economy. The tax that our central government will collect will benefit the entire CNMI.
