THE Truth is Politics is both “singular & plural” and both “an Art & Science,” which is taught in Highschool Government & Economics courses. Clearly, having twofold meanings in politics’ “purpose & execution” that can often be diametrically opposed makes for government to be driven by “opposing philosophies & opposing delivery platforms (parties).” Politics is “the Art & Science of governing to guide or influence policies and to win and hold control over the government” and most of us can see the Republicans have MASTERED Politics in the CNMI with “ABSOLUTE POWER that has become Absolutely CORRUPT! But all that power has come at a cost in the “lack of growth & progress” as its clear to highschoolers now that the CNMI is “GOING BACKWARDS” for over a decade, not forward. WE (the all-powerful Republican government) can’t even spend FREE Federal Money in a timely fashion, which should have awakened every voter to the problem with OUR political leadership that hasn’t changed in two-decades – duh & HELLER! When our reaction time in the CNMI to things I’ve written about is “years & even a decade” it should tell every voter OUR politics have gone AWRY, as I’ve been warning about the bigotry getting in the way of progress! It’s one thing to be stagnate or in a low but for the continuous decline of the CNMI over YEARS like WE have experienced with so much self-inflicted demise that it’s obvious to all that OUR Politics have gone AWRY and yet not a single protest nor a firing expressed by the Bosses – the People!
More importantly it has been this immense POWER of Republicans that has driven the FEAR in the People & opposing Politicians to even rise-up and protest against what I see as a LONG Avenue of Economic mistakes ever since I started writing over two decades ago. The disturbing thing for me is how Republicans get “Democrats to show up for Photo Ops” and yet the Dems aren’t getting anything for their support, as “go along-get along & rubberstamp” is what many are seeing. Dems are supposed to be the ADVERSARY for “approval, disapproval or compromise” in order for the BEST results to come out of the Legislature. And right today, I’ve shown & proven my Dems are NOT acting like the “People’s Party” they claim to be. FEAR is looming extremely BIG and WHY there are no Local Activists, as even the cultural practice of “not attacking leaders” is clearly a deadly defect to Democracy & the People holding officials accountable to their Bosses. But this must change, as Democracy is really a Greek word that means “power to PEOPLE,” not our leaders whom WE loan our power too. But if WE are AFRAID to be “vocal & demanding as the Bosses” given OUR demised quality of life in full living color of FAILURES for “your lying eyes” as many may not even realize the death grip of FEAR on the CNMI is real!
It is now common knowledge with the passage of “Trump’s Big Ugly Bill” that Republicans had two choices, regardless of the merits to “vote for the Bill or face Trump’s vengeance in the midterms” – FEAR looms & rules! But the same FEAR is true in the CNMI, just subliminal, as it’s common knowledge “vengeance looms for speaking against Republicans.” But Locals can’t continue to let FEAR rule their political decisions and THEIR Island. How many have “call their Representative, Senator or Governor to express YOUR concerns for or against something, as I’m sure it is closer to ZERO than 100, which is a lack of citizenry & WHY they aren’t afraid of their Bosses, thus the Same-O poli-tricking-subterfuge, nepotism & favoritism! In fact, the last real “Public Protest” was to “stop progress in the Roll-on/off Ferry to Tinian” around two decades ago followed by one Republican lying election season Photo Op pledge after another to “FIX Sugar Dock for OUR youth to have diving platforms & swimming.” But look at Sugar Dock today that only got a better “beer watering hole for adults and the dock no longer even exist”. WE as People have been entirely too “gullible” to think Republicans are going to live up to their word but WE FEAR to protest them! WE’RE being PLAYED People & WE better WAKE-UP or it’s the Same-O!
I do want to THANK Delegate King-Hinds for her work BUT the “work requirement” could make most of it useless. But think about “TRUST” and how Arnold has our very existence & future depending on a Bond Loan and all the other things he has Done & Failed to Do but NEVER had a real Plan-to-HELP his People PROVES he “just wanted to SIT & that’s IT”! But if WE know this to be TRUE then WHY aren’t WE voting OUT these Republicans, especially Governors, instead of letting them continue dividing the People with two different candidates, as one will use a “fake title” to poli-trick voters. If it was a Republican and still looks & acts like a Republican, then it’s a Republican, so voters need to stop falling for this “name changing poli-trick” like Arnold just did. Bring you’re A-Game so WE can ALL win for CHANGE on election day! Too many voters are only concerned about THEIR Political Rooster winning instead of the CNMI winning. And more importantly, the Dems must stop this foolishness & unprofessionalism with Ambrose their most OUTSPOKEN Dem and bring their A-Game or WE are doomed to hoping & praying Independents will even form their Independent-Party to prevail and start Reforming the CNMI for the Better. But whatever, WE can’t let FEAR just go AWRY to OUR needs & desires for the CNMI to be a BETTER place to live & work for ALL. Lose the FEAR, as it is truly time for “Power-to-the-People,” like the Greeks intended in their concept of governing defined by one word – DEMOCRACY”!
