Forum to discuss economic, labor issues

The forum will be hosted by Department of the Interior Assistant Secretary for Insular Areas Tony Babauta.

Interior field representative Jeff Schorr said registration will begin at 7 a.m. tomorrow.

The discussion from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. will cover economic development and diversification issues. It will start with a session regarding goals and outlines, followed by large group discussions. A small group discussion will follow before the entire group will reconvene to wrap up the discussion.

At 1 p.m., the goals and outline session on employer needs for recruiting, hiring, training and retaining eligible U.S. workers, including permanent residents and FAS citizens, will start.

The outline session will be followed by a large group discussion which will break into small group discussions before reconvening for a wrap up.
