Leo Galarse and Bryan Ajoste ignited the winning momentum for Sonics by collaring 6 points a piece early into the first quarter of the game. Galarse and Ajoste both tallied in a total of 13 points each at the end of the game. The Sonics did not let the Rollers shoot more than 4 buckets successfully and yanked the lead from them by 12 gargantuan points.
But Jason Palacios of Rollers had, had enough of just sinking in petty shots and of Sonics repeatedly shoving them to the ground. He was able to make one downtown shot, one charity, and one jump shot to clock in 6 points.
But unfortunately for him, this was not enough as the rest of his teammates were taking their shots for granted and repeatedly missing the basket; the Sonics widened the gap to 13 points by the end of the first half.
In the second half of the game, Jomar Danas was accidentally elbowed by one of the Sonics’ defenders. His eye did not heal in 5 minutes rather he was losing a significant amount of blood so Coach Joe Diaz of Rollers decided to escort him out of the game.
The coach lacking Rollers eventually lost the game by 4 points by the time the siren sealed the game close.
