Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja sentenced Aguon, 18, to seven years, all suspended, except for 18 months without the possibility of parole.
Aguon will be placed on probation for five and a half years.
Assistant Attorney General Peter Prestley prosecuted the case while Assistant Public Defender Richard Miller served as Aguon’s counsel.
The Attorney General’s Office charged Aguon with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, theft, conspiracy to commit robbery, underage person consuming alcohol, and three counts of disturbing the peace.
Aguon and a juvenile were arrested after they robbed Chang Won Restaurant in Chalan Kanoa on May 1, 2010.
They stole $25 from the establishment.
No information was available regarding the case filed against the juvenile, who was booked for armed robbery, minor consuming alcohol and curfew violation.
