Halloween story time at Joeten-Kiyu library

Children’s library associate Erlinda Naputi said the story time will start at 10 a.m. at the Children of our Homeland Library on Saturday.

Naputi said they are inviting children to come and listen to the Halloween stories that will be read for the occasion.

The Children of our Homeland Library conducts a story reading program each Saturday.

Library schedule

Because of the government’s reduced working hours, the Joeten-Kiyu library will have to be closed on Tuesdays, Naputi said.

For the whole month of November, the library will be open for a total of 13 days.

The library will be closed from Nov. 1 to 4, which is  Citizenship Day. It is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and will also be closed on Nov. 11, Veterans Day, and on Nov. 25, for Thanksgiving.

Naputi said the library schedule remains the same — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
